Dodoni is located 22 km south of Ioannina, in a great location close in the narrow valley between Tomaros and Manoliasa Mountains. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece.

In ancient times Dodoni was an important place of worship for Zeus, the father of all the gods. Its famous oracle is considered the oldest in the Greek territory while its outstanding theater with a total capacity of 18,000 spectators dates back to the 3rd century BC. 

The tour can be easily combined with a visit to the Pavlos Vrellis wax museum. The museum hosts about 150 models and 36 scenes of inspired by significant historical events of the rich Greek history.
